Travelling to White Knowle Road

 

BY CAR

Buxton is only an hour drive from the M1 and M6, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby.

From the M1 head for Matlock and then through Bakewell, or take the A50 and A52 through Ashbourne.

From the M6 take J14 through Stone and Leek, J17 through Congleton or J19 through Knutsford and Macclesfield.

From Manchester take the A6 to Buxton. From Derby take the A52 to Ashbourne and then the A515.

From Macclesfield take the A537. From Congleton take the A54.

 

BY RAIL

There are regular inter-city trains from London Euston to Manchester, Stockport and Macclesfield (journey time approx. three hours) with connecting services to Buxton (Macclesfield to Buxton is a bus link taking approx. half an hour).

The last train from Manchester to Buxton leaves after 10.00pm.
